So Al and I have been busy. It's now been seven months since my last journal entry and . . .well damn too much has gone on.

But here's what's happened recently. I'm putting this up for my mom mainly so she can see what's going on.

Alan and I headed to a convention last weekend, and made some cash. We has a good time goofing off with our friends OnyxWolf and KumaJayy - and in general just had a great time. We left the convention feeling tired but content.

Then we roll up to our apartment to see this.

Our apartment building has to be gutted. Thankfully no one was hurt or injured including our cats, however, our Calico Cat Quanta has apparently gone off the deepend, and after attacking various people pissing and excreting on herself, and generally just being violent to nayhting that moves, has been deemed insane by a veterinarian and will most likely have to be put down - no shelter will take her and she's a danger to anyone that comes near her including us.

Our home is pretty much in tact. The house is a mess though because a bunch of our nieghbors broke in to get our more valuable stuff out. My computer, the TV and a few other random things were piled up in someone elses apartment. Alan thinks they had mixed motives about it. Currently we're missing a scanner, a few DVD's, a mouse and a keyboard. We're leaving a good deal of things we don't need behind - like the vaccume that won't vaccume, various peicies of broken furniture and appliances, etc. The matress I came to the apartment with is gone too namely because the box bed is shot, and the thing was kinda in bad shape anyway. Currently it's been salvaged as a bed for some other, now homeless, person.

I'm staying with Alan's uncle at the moment and Al's mom even came down to help us find a new place to live. We've got a town home lined up in the apartment complex we wanted and that's a good thing to know. We can move in within a week (thank god).

I've currently got two projects to finish by the end of next week. Our teachers have been very generous and told us to have the projects to them by next friday.

Kat and Gavin are currently taking care of Gemini and Quanta(who is currently quarantiened to a bathroom).

We're going to head to the apartment once more today to get the last of the stuff from our home. I hope to go they're done soon because I don't want to stay at that apartment any longer. I don't even want to step foot there it's so freaking depressing.

Alan's almost done with most of his work, he still needs to finish an animation and rig and has to make a production bible. I've said I'd help him with it but he's an idiot and rarely even accepts any help I offer. I've got an animation, rig and textured model to finish. I'm not sure how I'm going to finish everything with so much going on AND finals.

Mom said that she'd come down to help me move and bring my old dresser with her so we'll have somewhere to put our clothing.

For all of you who have known about this, and have kept us in your toughts and prayers I thank you most senserely. Thank you thank you thank you!

And Mom you think you can take off a few days in about a week, we'd love the help with moving and. . .I don't think I've ever wanted a 'Mom' hug so much.

Yeah. . .it's finals week, which pretty much makes me dead to all existance, . . .unless you're living in the computer labs at my school too.

It's been very busy here in Atlanta and I feel like I'm walking on dead legs. Sleep is for the weak! And. . this. . .food thing. . .what is food? What is real food? I'm not sure I know anymore. Sustinance? Who needs that when you have lemonade and a machine vending cheezits?

Anyway, I've been working really hard on all of my basically final projects. All that is left is

a. to finish texturing a model and make a graphic for it
b. finish take home exam for Film Studies
c. Get working on my last flash animation project which will be some where around 30 seconds long. That's about 700 frames for me to draw in two weeks.
d. and take the final for Science of light which is on Tuesday - and with my wonderful abilities at test taking I'm sure I'll pass *note: words here should be drawn dripping with sarcasem*

The net is finally working again at home so I'll be able to upload much faster and much easier than the last two weeks. I've got a lot of stuff I need to color and spiff up to put on here though.

Yes I have more animations to send your way, and yes I'll be posting them asap. Just let me finish up this week, K?

I've got to do tax stuff and. . .well a lot of other stuff too. . .

took a break last night and watched Howl's Moving Castle with some friends at our appartment. It was really good and my favoriet character is the firey guy. I forget his full name but he's called "Cal" for short. He's so cute and voiced over by Billy Crystal. Woot. Go Mr. Crystal.

Other than that not much else to report. . . well there's tons of embrassing stuff. . .but why tell you that here and further embrass myself? Yeah. . .I'm saying this to annoy all of you.

I'm in 3D Modeling class and we're showing our models today so I'm just trying to stay awake. I'm so glad none of you live that close to me and didn't have to see me over these past two days. I have been so stressed I've actually made myself sick. Really sick. Like. . .really really sick.

Whel! Stepping away from my bodily fuctions now - I've got to pay rent today and I called in sick for work so I could get some rest, and not kill other people with my stress. I swear I'm gonna have a heart attack before I graduate at this rate.

My teacher is making a student's graphic model sheet look better. . .meh I think mine looks a bit better than a lot of the ones that I've seen thus far (the graphic design thing with the model). I'll post mine eventually along with a flash walk cycle that I'm finishing up for my 2D animation class. *As everyones grade in the class get's P0WNED because a kid decided to do an animated turn around- and another busts out an Ultra Magnus model.*

Le sigh.

Um. . .Not much else going on. Corpse Bride came out today and I'm debating on wether to buy it or not. I might head to TMTC to see if they have it for a lower price because they usually do.

The Aquarium was awsome as usual - and it was great to see Ralph and Norton again. Found out they're offering a backstage tour thingy and. . .I kinda wanna do that. Did some drawings but decided to just stop after I couldn't get the construction on a fish that has the construction competixy of a gold fish. For those of you who are confused on what I said: I went to the aquarium to draw on a day that my talents were still asleep and refusing to wake up!

Bored - so bored. . .and I suck at Maya - and all these people around me keep remidning me how much i really suck. Oh well.

I'm gonna go hide under my desk and try to not get noticed so I don't have to present mine. Alan really helped me out on this and I owe him a lot for it so I guess I shouldn't say it sucks. . .or maybe I should say that Alan has helped me a lot and I'm learning (although slowly) the basics and how to think on the program.

2D rocks so much more than 3D.

Okay I need to make some more stuff and color it. . .because I'm running low on stuff to post up!

I really want to work further on my horned lion breed thing so . . .maybe that'll go through. I've got a few things that I need to scan in and make pretty-fied in Photoshop - and I've got some doodles I may color in and show up for a while. The ipod thing I did. . .I think that is eventually going to be sent to the scraps folder. . .or maybe I'll re do it because I dunno i think i could do a lot better on it. . .maybe. That's if I ever get off my lazy bum and fix it.

Alan and I are planning to go to the Aquarium on Sunday - I still need to call in and ask when we're supposed to meet up with my friend and her boyfriend.

If any of you are ever in the Atlanta area please, forget about sixflags, forget about the Cocacola Meauseum (it's nothing but a building of paper ads for christ sake), and forget about the Atlanta Zoo (because it's just a sad sight, the habitat for those animals is next to NONE) - Go to the Georgia Aquarium. I'm so serious about this because to be honest I've never seen something that I'm really so proud to see in the town I live in. To be honest it's beautiful. Just beautiful.

They've done so much work and the only complaint I have to say to them is that they have ripped off Finding Nemo in thier mascot and 'this is dumbed down version of how the ocean works' movie thing. We didn't even bother to see that thing.

Anyway I won't give away too much but here's somethign to mull over in your brains. The aquarium in Atlanta houses TWO young (14 ft-16ft) whale sharks. Because the tank is so huge trainers can dive into the tank they are housed in and not see these two WHALE SHARKS in over ten minutes. When you go to see these creatures they litterally loom out of the distance. How bout them apples?

So anyway expect some pictures or at least some sketches of sea life after sunday this week.

I've got an animation project due next week. . .I think. *makes a note to check on that* and I have a train modle due on wensday that I don't even know what I'm gonna do with it. I. . .think I'm just gonna drag Alan into the school some this weekend and see if he can help me put that stupid choo-choo togeather. . .because damnit it SUCKS to make anything in Maya. . .it really does. But thank god I'm making up for it in 2D. I'm doing fairly well in there. . .so yeah.
